What is a celebrant?

Put simply, a Celebrant is a person who performs and officiates at formal ceremonies –such as weddings, vow renewals, baby naming’s, funerals, memorials and celebrations of life ceremonies. By booking a Celebrant for your ceremony, you can have the words, vows, music, eulogy, readings, poems, religious content and memories that you want.

Hello, my name is Janet Celia and in 2020 I qualified as an independent celebrant.

I am a passionate, caring, creative person with a love of people. Working with you I will help create a memorable, meaningful, and personalised ceremony that will provide memories for you to treasure forever.

My life experience, and previous people focused careers have provided me with the maturity and skills to connect with people.

 

I am a member of the Association of Independent Celebrants and am fully insured.

The backup plan!  I am also a member of the Wales Celebrant Community which means that in the unlikely event of me having a personal catastrophic event which prevents me attending your Significant Ceremony, I can call on the most appropriate member of the Welsh Celebrant Community to stand in for me.
